The Garden of Earthly Delights [2022]

We don’t know much about Hieronymus Bosch's life or intentions, so when it comes to interpretations of his work ‘The Garden of Earthly Delights’ it’s a your-guess-is-as-good-as-mine scenario. Historical exegesis ranges from an admonition of worldly fleshy indulgence, to a dire warning on the perils of life's temptations, to an evocation of ultimate erotic joy. Personally we’re fairly confident he was alluding to the feeling one gets when taking that first sip of coffee in the morning. Either that or he just really loved kissing ducks, floating apples and riding around in clam shells. What we’re 100% certain of is that this tasty Ecuadorian naturally processed Java would have definitely made it into the garden if Bosch had the privilege of drinking it all those years ago. Sourced from Finca Terrazas del Pisque in Ecuador’s Pinchincha region this micro lot is comprised of the highest quality cherries as they ripen during the year-round harvest. To produce this natural lot the cherries were placed directly onto raised beds and dried for an average of 28-40 days. The Garden of Earthly Delights oozes notes of blackcurrant, pineapple, and ginger beer. This coffee was ethically sourced in partnership with the importing by the legends Cafe Imports.
