Los Milagros
For many years Cerro Malé has been one of the most important mountains to the indigenous tribes living in Mexico's Chiapas state. Translating literally to “The Hill of Miracles” in their native dialect, they believed that sick people could be healed by bathing in the streams that cascade down its slopes. While the sick are being healed miraculously, it's the unique microclimate partnered with the hard work of the CABOICHI growers organisation that makes Los Milagros an incredible coffee. Using organic farming practices that help sustain and renew the forest gardens, the farmers produce a clean and sweet coffee with notes of apricot, lemon curd and pineapple
